Spicy Celery Ranch Dressing

A cashew-based vegan and gluten-free ranch dressing with a celery twist.

cashew pieces
unroasted

celery

lemon

heaping teaspoon
white miso

pickled jalapeno
optional

clove
garlic
or 1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic

teaspoon
granulated onion

tablespoon
fresh herbs
any combo of dill, parsley, basil, green onion, cilantro, etc
Salt
to taste
Freshly ground black pepper
to taste
Instructions
Put everything except the fresh herbs into the jar of a strong blender. Process until smooth.
Pulse in the herbs.
Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Notes
If you don't have a high speed blender, soak the cashews in water until softened and drain.
For a nut-free version use sunflower seeds!
