Hi! If you’re not familiar with me or my work, please read About Me.

Other than dabbling on social media, I haven’t had a significant web presence over the last 6 years, which is a big change for me. I usually have some kind of recipe project going somewhere, but I’ve needed a break for my emotional and mental health.

What have I been up to? Why the break? Since I’ve been online regularly, I’ve experienced a Federal copyright infringment lawsuit, the decline and loss of my beloved Mama Bee, the decline and loss of my beloved dog, Vee Bee, peri and post menopause, a variety of chronic health struggles, the loss of friends and relationships – not to mention this flockin Pandemico. It’s been a lot!

Even though I really needed a break, I genuinely enjoy creating content online and have missed the work a lot! I love developing new recipes, the technical and creative side of building websites, writing zines and e-books, photography, digital illustration and even the administrative work that goes into having an online presence.

So here I am again – welcome to Kittee Bee!

Here’s some of the type of content I’d like to share here:

  • My best recipes, culled from my old projects.
  • New recipes
  • Posts about my current passions including knitting, Yiddish studies, Jewish genealogy and my vintage collections.
  • Posts about menopause.
  • E-cookbooks, craft patterns and new zines.
  • Coaching and instruction (local and virtual).
  • A PDX area Bread & Bake subscription “club.”

I am also hoping to create a subscription side to Kittee Bee, where I can share special content with those who support me for a minimal fee. It’s very rewarding and motivating to be supported by an audience who appreciates the content I create! And, obvs, it helps to offset the cost of running this site!

I hope you’ll stick around to see what Kittee Bee becomes. I’m already enjoying being back.
