Slanty is a boxy, raglan baby sweater with a top-down seamless construction. It’s knit in stockinette stitch with a slanted garter stitch button-band.

The slanted angle is formed by decreasing and increasing stitches at the beginning and end of the same row. The button band’s smooth, round edge comes from a built in i-cord that’s knit into the pattern as you knit.

Other than sewing on buttons, very little finishing is required at the end of the sweater.

This pattern is easy to follow and a great stash-busting design (you can add stockinette color changes and different colored garter stripes in whatever colors and patterns you desire).
